FUFA will sell up to 20,000 VVIP, VIP and ordinary match tickets

As FUFA puts tickets for the final 2017 AFCON qualifier on the market, the federation has said that it will not sell them on match day.

Uganda plays Comoros in its last Group D match at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on September 4.

FUFA said on Wednesday that it will sell up to 20,000 VVIP, VIP and ordinary match tickets at Shell, Total, City Oil, Gapco and Kobil outlets in Kampala, FUFA House and Tango Sport in Jinja.

Namboole takes up to 40000 fans but FUFA said that Cranes sponsors had already taken up half of the tickets for the promotion of the match.

Fans who bought the discounted tickets will first use them to access the friendly with Kenya's Harambee Stars on Tuesday.

However, tickets for the friendly are also on sale at sh10,000 for open stands and sh20,000 for VIP.

As a security measure, fans will not be allowed to go for the match in cars.
