URA FC unveils ten new signings

URA FC finished fifth in the Azam Uganda Premier League last season

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) unveiled ten new signings and the club's new kit ahead of intensive preparations for the season ahead.

The unveiling took place at their usual training ground at Hormisdallen School in Gayaza.

The occasion was graced by the newly re-elected chairman of the club on a four year contract Ali Ssekatawa and his vice Moses Kibumba as well as the general secretary Moses Kaduyu among others.

Ssekatawa called for togetherness between the club and its supporters.

"We have bought plenty of quality jerseys and they are already in stock. We shall be so glad to see our dear supporters buying them" he said.

URA FC who finished fifth in the Azam Uganda Premier League last season has so far assembled the players from different clubs both local and foreign.

They are goalkeeper Alionzi Nafian Legason from Onduparaka, defenders Fred Okot from Lweza FC, Nigerian Frank Harry Gentle from FC Heegan in Kenya, Fahad Kawooya  Kalule from Saints FC, midfielders Jimmy Lule from Bright Stars FC, Julius Mutyaba from Lweza FC and Hudu Mulikyi from Maroons FC, strikers Emmanuel Ibe Obina from Mathare FC in Kenya, Richard Wandyaka from JMC Hippos and Bokota Labama Bovice from AS Vita in Congo.
