Injured Maxime van Pee did not take part
The Blick family made a strong come back in the fifth round of the Mountain Dew National Motocross Championship at the Victoria Racetrack in Garuga winning almost all the classes.
Ten-time motocross champion Arthur Blick Jr won the MX1 open class, his son Paddy Blick won the MX125cc class while his elder son Alistair Blick finished second in the MX2 class behind in-form Fatuh Kiggundu.
Arthur Blick Jr's nephew William Blick Jr won the 50cc PeeWee class in a tightly contested race with Miguel Katende while niece Isabella Blick won the 50cc class beating rivals Alon Orland who finished second, Malcom Omoding and Gift Ssebuguzi.
Blick Jr. could not hide his joy as he said,"We had a great day today, my nephew William Jr first in the PeeWee class, my niece Isabella first in the MX50, Paddy first in the MX125, Alestair second in MX2 and me first in the MX1 class."
Fatuh Kiggundu won the MX2 category, Fortune Ssentamu the 85cc category while Malcom Lubega emerged the 65cc category champion.
The event excited fans despite the absence of Maxime van Pee who was injured but his brother Olivier Van Pee competed.
The event climaxed with a bodaboda competition.
