KCCA v Vipers (Sunday)

Vipers put up a good performance in the two friendly games they played in Buikwe and Jinja over the weekend.

The Kitende based side defeated JMC and Sadolin Paints 1-0 each at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru and Bugembe Stadium on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

On Saturday, Pius Wanji slotted in William Wadri's pass past JMC keeper Michael Nantamu in the 67th minute to give Vipers a 1-0 victory in Jinja

Wadri capped off a productive weekend by scoring the only goal of the game against Sadolin on Sunday with an early strike.

This was Vipers' third victory on the trot after edging Buikwe Red Stars 3-0 on Wednesday last week.

The reigning Uganda Cup champions return to action against Masavu in another friendly before playing KCCA on Sunday in the FUFA Super Cup.
