With just one game left to the end of the National Hockey League round two, Wananchi sides continued to dominate the league in both categories.

The former champions of the men's league who are now on 22 points beat the second placed Wearherhead 4-3 with the scores from Andrew Lubega, Thomas Opio, and skipper Derrick Akuwa who scored twice to maintain their lead.

Meanwhile in the women category, still table leaders Wananchi strongly held the reigns with 17- 0 win against Weatherhead Jaguars and the result brought the club to 48 goals in 7 matches.

Also the second placed Weatherhead Gazelles that kicked off the league's weekend matches on Saturday won their game with 6-1 confortable win against Deliverence church.

Weatherhead gazelle at 16 points need three to go level with the Wananchi that is currently leading the table on 19 points.
