While it is widely believed that dropping out school deprives one of the "good things in life", Emmanuel Ssembusi Butebi from a small village of Butebi in Mityana district is an exception.

After dropping out in S4, owing to a lack of school fees, Ssembusi discovered his "calling" in business.

He had got a head start in business while dealing in fresh fish, a venture he started in P2. He then went into retail and micro-finance as well the hospitality industry and has built an empire.

He shares magic behind his empire that started with only sh120, 000 from the fish trade in the 1990s and lessons on how to keep a business afloat.
