The Kyabazinga of Busoga William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV will on July 23 launch the Busoga Masaza football tournament at Saza  ground in Kigulu county.

Fourteen teams have confirmed participation. These include;‪ Butembe,  Bugabula ,Buzaya , ‎Budiope ,‎Kigulu ,Bukoli South ,Bukoli North ,‎Bugweri ,‎Luuka, Bunhole,Bunya ,Busiki ,‎Bulamogi ,Bukono.

The tournament will be played on home and away basis from group up to the knock out stages.

The region so far has four teams in the Azam  Uganda Premier League. These include; BUL, Sadolin Paints, Kirinya Jinja  SS and JMC Hippos.
