Voters accused the chairperson for putting only women in the executive positions

Voters in Ngora district have expressed their disappointment over the way the district chairperson constituted his executive.

Speaking to Etop Radio, voters accused the chairperson for putting only women in the executive positions instead of balancing the appointments.

Speaking on behalf of his people, the district councillor for Ngora, John Michael Ikilai says the chairperson should have considered putting men in the executive instead of only women.

In the district council recently Ben Eumu the chairman nominated three women to take up executive positions in the district and all were approved.

They are Doreen Getrude Alupo Ejoku (education and health), Hellen Oumo (production) and Margaret Asele (works and technical services).

Eumu however said it's not his mistake because the law allows him to nominate the executive members and the council approves.

He added that is he had done wrong, the council where Ikilai sits shouldn't have approved the three women.
