SC Villa appoints Sserwadda as head coach

Deo Sserwadda signed a two-year contract

Sports Club Villa has unveiled former player Deo Sserwadda its new head coach taking over from interim tactician Ibrahim Kirya who guided the team to fourth place in the Uganda Premier League last season.

The CAF B License holder who has won the Uganda Cup and league trophy with URA FC before has signed a two-year contract at Villa Park with a promise to rejuvenate SC Villa's winning ways.

SC Villa president Ben Misagga said that Sserwada was picked for the job from tens of applicants because of his past record and his qualification which is a prerequisite at FUFA.

Sserwadda will be assisted by Shafik Bisaso and Christopher Robo with a demand for them to win trophies during their time at the club if they should continue to be employed at club.

Arrival of the Sserwada has also seen departure of the club technical director Frank Anyau, who was brought in as a cover Kirya who did have the proper qualifications.
