Parliament Appointments committee has declined to approve two ministerial nominees.

The committee chaired by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga rejected Ismael Orot (state minister for works) and Adrian Tibaleka (state minister for elderly and disabled).

Sources inside a closed vetting committee said that Orot allegedly used somebody's academic papers to seek high office while Tibaleka knew nothing about her ministry.

Tibeleka could not answer any question to do with her docket correctly, a source told New Vision.
