Express FC strives for professionalisation

The newly appointed chairperson of the club, Nakiwala Kiyingi, has appointed Pastor Samuel Kakande of Synagogue Church of All Nations and Customer Marketing Manager at Crown Beverages Limited Jeff Sekandi as executive members.

Express Football Club are working hard to give the Red Eagles a new image with professional structures of management.

The newly appointed chairperson of the club, Nakiwala Kiyingi, has appointed Pastor Samuel Kakande of Synagogue Church of All Nations and Customer Marketing Manager at Crown Beverages Limited Jeff Sekandi as executive members.

More members are yet to be identified and named on the executive by end of the week.

The secretariat staff, who will manage the daily activities will continue with CEO Ram Hadji. The public relations officer is Musa Kagimu, Victor Ssebude is the Chief Finance Officer, Hamzah Jjunju is the club Administrator/Registrar, Chief Marketing Officer is Patrick Matovu, Robert Mujabi is the technical director and Gideon Kigonya is the fans coordinator.

At the Saturday meeting, Nakiwala identified priorities at the club, including immediate improvement of players' welfare and marking 60 years of Express FC with a trophy in 2017.

Others include strengthening administrative structures at the club and establishing operational club offices in a bid to keep in touch with club fans across the country.
