League leaders Challengers will look up to the services of Ham Kayondo and Naseer Ahmed as they face fifth-placed Nile in the Uganda Cricket Association 50-over National League.
The game is due at the Entebbe Oval today.
Challengers are out to end Tornado Bee's three year grip on the trophy in division 1.
Kayondo and Ahmed have proved to be the focal point for the Challengers outfit.
Kayondo is currently the leading batsman in the league with 278 runs while Ahmed in third place at 244.
Ahmed is one run better than Kutchi Tigers's Jitesh Gorasia.
Challengers are nothing but more headstrong to endure the pressure that comes with being at the top.
But certainly this is an experience they are not fully familiar with though they are willing to contain it.
"There is a strong will among the players to make history and that is what keeps us going," said Challenger's skipper Ivan Thawithemwira.
There will be more action elsewhere.
Former champions Wanderers, struggling to avoid relegation, will meet KICC.
At the same time, defending champions and second-placed Tornado Bee face Kutchi Tigers at the Kyambogo oval.
Tornado Bee are on a mission to close the 11-point gap that separates them from the Challengers.
