President Erdogan concludes visit to Uganda

President Erdogan’s visit, the first by a Turkish Head of State, was mainly geared at promoting trade and tourism opportunities between Turkey and Uganda.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey has concluded his 2-day official visit to Uganda at the invitation of President Yoweri Museveni.

The Turkish Head of State, on a tour of East Africa, left Uganda for Kenya.

He was seen off last night at Entebbe International Airport by the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Daudi Migereko, State Minister for Gender and Culture, Hon. Isanga Lukia Nakadama, the Head of Public Service, Mr. John Mitala, Uganda's and Turkish envoys respectively as well as senior Government and security officials.
