BIDCO donates towards Abel Dhaira run

BIDCO Uganda has contributed sh2m and 300 t-shirts towards the Abel Dhaira Marathon.

The marathon is expected to take place on Heroes Day in Jinja Municipality.

The money was handed over to Fasial Mayemba the head of the Abel Dhaira Foundation at the company headquarters in Walukuba-Masese on Monday by the company general manger Ghosh Suvjarit.

Mayemba noted that they are targeting to raise sh19m which will be used to build a statute at the Abel Dhaira Stadium which was named after him in Walukuba division.

He noted that tickets are sold at Smart Guy, Trans-Africa, NBS radio station, Igar petrol station in Jinja.

Ghosh said it was their social cooperate responsibility to give back to the communities by supporting various activities.
