Holders St Mary’s Secondary School enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win over Kabalega Secondary School.

SOROTI - Bishop's Senior Secondary School beat Kitebi Light Secondary School 1-0 on yet another day of the ongoing national post primary football championship at Teso College Aloet.

Gerald Mayombe headed in powerfully with ten minutes to go from a freekick delivered by Kyeyune Aaron.

To book themselves a place in the last 16, Bishop's have to pick up a win against Kabalega Secondary School on Sunday.

Meanwhile, St Mary's Secondary School, Kitende enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win over Kabalega.

Pius Kanji scored a hat trick for the defending champions before captain Bunjo wrapped up a huge victory. Kitende are now unbeaten in five games.

Old Kampala Secondary School beat Teso Progressive Secondary School 1-0, thanks to an early Alfah Kakonge first-half goal.

Bukoyo Secondary School were 2-0 winners over Alere Secondary School, courtesy of a brace by Ibrahim Sajjabi. Bukoyo will play Kitebi next.

Gerald Okwet scored a hattrick as Kimanya Secondary School thrashed Nyakasura Secondary School 5-0 in the biggest win of the day. Robert Mukotya and Phillbat Obenchan were the other scorers in an emphatic win.

A first-half brace by Brain Nyabwine and second-half strikes by Nicholas Tumwakwasi and Hassan Namuleba  helped Bishop McAllister brush aside St Joseph Secondary School.

Jinja Progressive Secondary School were held 1-1 by Bright Light Secondary School. Both teams cannot qualify from the group stage even if they win their next remaining game.

Kiboga Progressive Secondary School played out a goalless draw against Kitgum High School.

Kabale Brainstorm Secondary School suffered a second consecutive 3-0 defeat against Kigumba Secondary School as Citizen High School lost to Buhobe Secondary School 1-0.
