Sauna FC 3 Typhoons FC 10

The Sauna Futsal Club crowning ceremony was overshadowed by a humiliating 10-3 defeat in their final game of the season to Typhoons FC before they received a trophy for winning the inaugural mini-league on Tuesday night.

The hitherto unbeaten side looked unusually disjointed after they conceded two quick goals without reply.

"Complacency caused this but may be it is a wakeup call for us before the season proper is in August. Now we know that we are not invincible. Besides every team will want to come out to beat us," Sauna team manager Hakim Muwonge said.

Despite the defeat Sauna team captain Hassan Kasozi was named the Most Valuable Player.

Bashir Matovu and Samuel Kato scored hat tricks while Oyrioch Lukyamuzi (brace), Masudi Kafumbe and Abdallah Mawiya added goals each for Typhoons.

Steven Bikamata scored a brace while Solomon Musisi added for Sauna.
