Nwoya district woman MP NRM flag bearer has promised to fulfill her pledges despite losing in the 2016 general elections.

Judith Peace Acan made the revelation while speaking during her 33rd birthday celebrations in Pece African Quarters in Gulu Municipality on Saturday where electorates from all the eight sub counties in Nwoya attended and gifted her a birthday cake, cow, six goats and over 10 chickens.

"I do not need to be an MP to support the people of Nwoya district. My contest for MP was a call to help people of Nwoya" Acan said.

She said she wouldn't withdraw the ambulance that she donated, but fulfill her other promises like opening a driving school for youth in Nwoya, commission boreholes and support village saving groups among others.

"I urge all my supporters to reconcile, unite and support my opponent. Forget what happened during campaign and welcome leaders that were elected for better cooperation, unity and development of Nwoya district" she said.

Acan also promised to reconcile with her opponent s and appealed to leaders who won the election to distribute government programs equally without favour of political affiliation.
