Darts: Amoding leads Prisons in Tanzania Open

Amoding is part of the Uganda Prisons team of five players who departed early for the event on Thursday.

USPA woman darts player for the year 2015 Dinah Amoding will spearhead Uganda's quest for honours in the East Africa Darts Federation (EADF) championship in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday.

The Uganda Prisons Darts Club could not wait for her crown at the Nile Special-USPA gala on Friday as she embarks on a quest for more honours this season.

Amoding is part of the Uganda Prisons team of five players who departed early for the event on Thursday.

Alongside Justine Watum, Amoding is expected to give Kenyan top guns Selina Sakawa and Anne Wangoia a run for their money in the EADF team event.

Amoding and Watum are part of Team Uganda which includes Andrew Emomeri, Emmanuel Ociti, Julius Malinga and Chaudry Akena.

Besides the EADF team contest, the Ugandan players will also contest for the Tanzania Open singles event.

Kenya has of late proved dominant in the annual competition that is expect to involve players from the East African region.
