The Uganda sports fraternity should expect even bigger crowning moments for its sportsmen after more commitment from the sponsors of the annual Nile Special USPA Sportsman of the year gala.

Sh160m will be spent on this year's event due Friday, April 29 at Serena Hotel and according to Nile Special Brand Manager Isaac Sekasi, the event can only getter better with each passing year.

"As Uganda's most awarded beer Nile Special felt the need to raise the bar in recognition of the service that the Uganda sports fraternity has done to keep the image of the nation in a positive light over the past year," Sekasi stated.

"And as evidenced by the recent achievements by our different sportsmen, for us our role is really to give them a platform to showcase true Ugandan greatness," Sekasi remarked.
