University league: Kyambogo to play UCU

Uganda Christian University will take on Kyambogo University in the University Football League on Thursday at UCU grounds.

UCU will go into that game boosted by two registered wins against Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Kampala International University (KIU).

It will be the first ever meeting between the two sides in this tournament.

But two years ago, Kyambogo dumped hosts UCU out of the East African University Games in the quarter finals.

Victory to UCU will take them to nine points to secure a place in the quarter finals while a win for Kyambogo University will take them to seven points.

Kyambogo, who have won the university league once, are determined to clinch their second title.
