St.Mary's College Kisubi (SMACK) will face off with Hana mixed school in the Schools Rugby league final on Sunday at Namilyango College School.

The final was set after Hana mixed School defeated Namilyango 43-3 in the semi-final held on Sunday at Kings College Budo while SMACK saw off hosts Kings College Budo 8-7 in a tightly contested game.

"It was a smashing and I think it was just inferiority complex because last year we lost all our games against Hana and even in East Africa Games we were fourth behind them but we are going to regroup and seek revenge in the nationals," Okwaja stated.

Fred Bakuba scored two tries while Simon Okwera, Nicholas Kato, Leonard Alfonse, Mark Omoding and Faragi Odugu added a try each and Stephen Alul managed four conversions to give to give Hana a 43-3 win.

Thomas Ekimon scored Namilyango's consolation drop goal.

In the second semi-final Chrispus Kichoncho gave SMACK a 5-0 lead courtesy of a try but Budo replied with a try and conversion by Franz Amigo and Daniel Sendawula gain 7-5 half time lead.

In the second half SMACK mounted pressure managing to get a penalty in the 68th minute that was scored by Timothy Odongo.

The finals are on Sunday at Namilyango College School in Seeta.
