Premier League: Lweza take on leaders KCCA

In the first round of the league, KCCA and Lweza shared the spoils at Nakivubo Stadium.

KAMPALA - Lweza FC will face Azam Premier League table toppers KCCA FC later today at Wankulukuku Mutesa ll Stadium.

Lweza come into today's game on the back of defeat to Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos at Kakindu Stadium.

Their skipper Mutyaba Julius resumed training after suffering an injury but he is a doubt.

In the first round of the league, KCCA and Lweza shared the spoils at Nakivubo Stadium.

KCCA are leading the table with 42 points ahead of Vipers FC who are in second place.

The Kampala-based side will hope to make it another win after seeing off Maroons FC late, thanks to an 89th-minute goal by Paul Mucureezi at Nakivubo.

And Mucureezi says that "we are going to treat each game as a final until we reach our target of winning the trophy this season".
