Cardinal Wamala decries selfishness

Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala has appealed to Ugandans to help the needy.
He made the call on Tuesday at St Andrew's College Ssanda, Wakiso District at the commissioning of a three-storeyed building, marking the seventh anniversary of the school.
He noted that it was illogical for those feasting to throw food in waste bins, while the needy are left to starve.
Wamala also advised students to make sure they cooperate to prosper.
The Cardinal applauded the school founder Msgr Lawrence Ssemusu, and other financiers from Germany for the good work they did for the community.
He noted that when someone starts a school, it benefits the community and country as it educates leaders of tomorrow.
Msgr Ssemusu paid tribute to the late Jane Nakalanzi's and Madrine Nabukenya Mukisa, the pioneer staff members.
The function was graced by Msgr John Wynand Katende, Fr Francis Xavier Mayinja,and Fr. Moses Kiyimba and Prof. Allan Katwalo who was guest speaker.
