“Kyebando are a good team but we are going to give them a challenge.”

Kyebando FC will play Kamwokya FC on Thursday in the Kampala Regional League.

After a poor start to the season, Kyebando have enjoyed better performances in the second round of the season.

With three games left to the end of this campaign, the Kanyanya-based side are still leading the table with 38 points, two points adrift of second-placed City Lads FC whom they beat 3-2 in the last game.

So far, they have won all their second-round games, save for one draw.

After their win against City Lads to climb to the summit, Kyebando went into the Easter break and resumed training on Monday.

Head coach Sam Kawalya believes that despite being a "stubborn" team, they will see off Kamwokya.

Meanwhile, Kamwokya's assistant coach Cyrus Kizito, also former Simba FC player, says they will put up a formidable force against the table leaders.

"Kyebando are a good team but we are going to give them a challenge."
