Security guard arrested for shooting man in Mbarara

Mbarara - Police in Mbarara are holding a private security guard attached to Tiger Security Company for allegedly shooting a man in Rwebikona in Mbarara town.

Charles Tubaine allegedly shot Atanazio Baziketa's legs last night. The incident happened at Bam fueling station in Rwebikona.

Tubaine told police that Baziketa with another man on the run allegedly tried to grab his gun while on duty at Bam fueling station.

The Rwizi region police spokesperson Vincent Ssekate said investigations into the incident are underway.
