Caesar Okhuti marked his return from injury with a brace to spur KCCA to a 2-0 win against Soana in the Azam Uganda Premier League at Nakivubo Stadium on Tuesday.

Okhuti who joined KCCA in the January transfer window from rivals Express scored his first goals for the Lugogo-based side.

"My target is to continue scoring goals. My mission was to sore ten goals in the first round although I only scored eight. I need ten more goals,"Okhuti stated after the match.

OKhuti struck in the 4th and 77th minute help KCCA extend their lead to 38 points.

Soana coach Charles Ayiekoh blamed his defenders for the loss.

"We have many things we have to address but I think our defence was relaxed. But by the time we play our next game we shall be a better side,"Ayiekoh stated.

Elsewhere, two first half goals from Richard Wandyaka and defender Musa Walangalira gave home side JMC Hippos FC a shock 2-0 win against  Express FC at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

At Wankulukuku, home side Lweza played 1 all draw with URA with Elukana Nkugwa scoring the leveler for the tax collectors.

In Matugga, Bright Stars drew 0-0 with BUL at Champion Stadium while struggling Saints lost 1-0 to Sadolin Paints at Namboole Stadium.

Isaac Odeke scored late as Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) beat bottom side Maroons in Luzira.
