Former National Rally Championship (NRC) champion Ponsiano Lwakataka has vowed to win the FMU Premeir Sprint in Busiika on Saturday.

"Rally fans should come to witness the end of 'Ebisodde' (Mitsubishi Evo10) era," a confident Lwakataka said.

"I'm going to show them (others drivers) that it is not the car that matters but the skills and heart of the driver."

Lwakataka will face top drivers Christakis Fitidis, Deshi Kananura (Evo10), Wycliff Bukenya, Rauf Adam (Evo9), Arthur Blick Jr (Subaru N10) and Hassan Arwi (Subaru N14).

"All my fans who failed to make it to Masaka and Mbarara should bring my "Tofali" in Busiika but please stay off the track,"the 2011 Pearl of Africa Rally winner added.
