Lumumba's convoy involved in accident

NRM Secretary General Justin Kasule Lumumba's convoy was today afternoon involved in an accident at Kitodha trading center, Bulesa sub county, Bugiri district.

Two occupants, including the driver, survived with minor injuries.

Bugiri district police commander Edirisa Kyeyune said the driver of one of the vehicles that was in the convoy lost control after hitting an anthill at the roadside.

Police later cordoned off the area denying locals who wanted to loot the items from the vehicle.

A panic stricken Kasule was rushing to her home village of Buwolya to cast her vote, just a few meters to close of voting.
