Elections of representatives of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in Parliament has gotten underway at Colline Hotel in Mukono.
The four representatives of the PWDs in Parliament will be elected through secret ballot by delegates from district PWD electoral colleges. Each region elects an MP for PWDs to Parliament.
The MPs are being elected by the chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, general secretaries, publicity secretaries and treasurers from the district PWDs electoral structures.
