The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, was destined to win the Kamuli woman MP seat according provisional results obtained Thursday night.

The Leader of Opposition in Parliament Wafula Oguttu of FDC and Beatrice Anywar were also in the lead for Bukhooli constituency and Kitgum woman MP respectively. 

State minister for education John Muyingo and Abraham Byandaala (without portfolio) were leading in Bamunanika and Katikamu North constituencies respectively in Luweero district.
