Counting still underway in Mpigi

Counting of votes is still underway at all polling stations in the district of Mpigi.

The counting is still at the level of a polling station and by 4:35pm most of the polling stations had started counting votes.

At some of the polling stations we visited in Mpigi town council, the provisional results are as follows.

At Police center polling station, Mpigi town council, Kiiza Besigye polled 237 votes, Yoweri Museveni 167 votes, Abed Bwanika 10, Amama Mbabazi 4, Biraro 2, Maureene Kyalya 2 Mabirizi 2, Baryamureeba 0.

At Church Center A-N Abed Bwanika 11 votes, Mbabazi 5, Yoweri Museveni 85, Kiiza Besigye 181, others got zero and 43 were invalid.

At N-Z church center Museveni polled 205, Besigye 264 others got zero.
