Reverend Kezekiah Walusimbi Kaweesa, Vicar, Martyrs Church Katwe in Namirembe Diocese and the Namirembe Diocesan Estates secretary, has died.
Rev. Kaweesa died Saturday morning at Mulago hospital where he was rushed on last Monday with heart-related complications.

He said said Rev. Kaweesa's call to serve God started way back when he worked as head of laity in Kungu parish off Bombo Road in Namirembe diocese.
Eria Paul Luzinda, the retired bishop of Mukono Diocese, said the late had been given the gift of mastering Christian communities wherever he served.
"Some Christians in Katwe Martyrs Church where the late served close to seven years are not easy to deal with but he fully managed them . We are only thankful that he played his role," said Luzinda.
Peter Ssegawa, head of laity, Katwe Martyrs Church, said Rev. Kaweesa had a major heart operation seven years back when blocked heart valves were replaced with artificial ones.
"Ever since he returned from India he has been doing well. We have been waiting for him to stabilize before taking him back for further treatment on advise of doctors," said Ssegawa.
Last Saturday, Rev. Kaweesa celebrated his silver Jubilee in marriage with his wife Deborah Kaweesa and held a thanksgiving service for his children who successfully completed their studies.
He will be laid to rest at his ancestral grounds in Migadde near Bombo next to Migadde Church of Uganda in Kungu parish on Monday.
