Denis Kasozi is new baseball boss

Denis Kasozi, has been elected as chairman of the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association to replace George Mukhobe who has served for two terms.

Kasozi was elected unopposed by the 11 clubs at Lugogo Indoor MTN Arena.

The National Council of Sports (NCS) assistant secretary David Katende Semakula presided over the  elections.

Kasozi pledged to have UBASA registered with NCS. He also promised to aggressively look for sponsors and to solicit for external funding.

Kasozi has a vast experience in baseball from being a player to national  team captain for the under 17, captain of Kyambogo College School, proprietor of Kyambogo Buffaloes Club, UBASA treasure (2011-2013) and  UBASA chairman for the disciplinary committee (2014-2015).
