NRM endorses Tindyebwa for Rubaga North

THE NRM Electoral Commission has endorsed Brian Tindyebwa as the party's flag bearer for the Lubaga North Parliamentary seat in the forthcoming 2016 elections. 

On Friday, the High Court ordered NRM’s Electoral Commission not to endorse Singh Katongole until his academic qualifications case which was filed by Brian Tindyebwa had been disposed of on 15 December.

During the NRM primaries which were held on 26th October 2015, Katongole was declared the winner against Tindyebwa who later petitioned the NRM Electoral Commission contesting the results.

However, according to a letter signed by Dr. Tanga Odoi, Brian Tindyebwa has now been declared the party’s flag bearer for the Lubaga North Parliamentary seat.

Tindyebwa expressed gratitude over the victory.

“We need to work hard as a team with Singh Katongole too and I’m ready to unite supporters under NRM to win this vote” he said.
