Rams Rugby Club and Gulu Elephants have been promoted to the Nile Special Premier Rugby League raising the number of teams in the 2015/2016 league to 10 from eight.

Gulu v Kobs, 4:30pm

At Kyadondo:

Buffaloes v Warriors, 2:30pm

Heathens v Impis, 4:30pm

At Legends:

Ezee Money Rhinos v Black Pirates, 4:30pm

In Entebbe:

Mongers v Rams, 4:30pm


Rams Rugby Club and Gulu Elephants have been promoted to the Nile Special Premier Rugby League raising the number of teams in the 2015/2016 league to 10 from eight.

The two clubs face Rhinos, Kobs, Black Pirates, Mutoni Warriors, Toyota Buffaloes, Ezee Money Rhinos, Makerere Impis, and defending champions Hima Cement Heathens.

The Nile Special Premier Rugby League kicks-off on Saturday with five games on card in the ten team league.

According to the fixture, newly promoted Gulu Elephants host Kobs at Gulu University ground, Sadolin Mongers host Rams at the house of pain in Entebbe while defending champion Hima Cement Heathens take on Impis at Kyadondo Rugby club.

Uganda Rugby Union (URU) League director Abel Chadribo confirmed that the teams were increased from eight to 10 to give players enough playing time.

In the other fixtures, Bufalloes host Mutoni Warriors at Kyadondo while Black Pirates visit Ezee Money Rhinos in the highly billed tie of the day.
