Mubajje made the remarks on Monday in Kyebando, Wakiso Muslim District while addressing two Muslim gatherings at special prayers (Duwas) organized by the District Kadhi of Kampala Sheikh Muhammad Iga.

He said that Islam and other religions in particular have been infiltrated by wrong elements that are using religion to commit crimes against humanity.

Mubajje urged Muslims not to duplicate everything which is done in the Middle East and other developed countries because which is not in line with the teachings of Islam.

"Your conduct and actions should be inspired by the Quran and Hadith" Mubajje said.

He implored Muslims to be aware of individuals who masquerade as Muslim clerics yet they are agents of extremists and hide in the umbrella of the Islamic religion to execute their evils on innocent people across the world.

Mubajje's massage follows the Paris attack by jihadists who took the advantage of intelligence gaps and the absence of border controls between France and Belgium which claimed about 19 people.
