The Uganda Christian University Ladies whipped gladiators 83-43 at Lugogo and sealed the best-of-three series 2-0 to set up a semi-final clash with one of the country's most successful women basketball club A1 challenge.

Defending champions KCCA Leopards, smashed Amazon Rhinos 86-40 to set up a semi-final date  with KIU Rangers who saw off  Magic Stormers 64-61 in 2-0 of the best of three series.

In the men's category, James Deng's game high 18 points were not enough to stop his Our Saviour team from being swept 2-0 by UCU Canons, who prevailed 74-59.

Canons are now joined by Tiger Head Power who emerged winners over Star Times Falcons with 101-100 narrow victory to sail through to the semi-final with 2-1 win in the Best of three series.
