The East African queens are in Uganda, warming up for the Mavuno Yetu celebrations, come 13th, November, this Friday.

The girls, wearing Anita Beryl’s looks, were stunning, when unveiled to the press, at the Lake Victoria Golf Course Resort, during the press conference.

Their gorgeous smiles and beauty will be such a spectacle; including the catwalk moments where they will feature our own Ugandan designer, Rafael Kasule’s collection and Kenya’s Azra Walji’s.

This year’s Mavuno has attracted five beauty queens; among these include our very own Miss Uganda, Kenya’s Idah Nguma, Tanzania’s Jihan Dimack, and Rwanda’s Doriane Kundwa, including Miss South Sudan’s Akan William.

The Mavuno Yetu that celebrates harvest and heritage of East African has been happening since 2011.  It is an event that celebrates East African food, music and fashion.

Tickets can be bought at Kampala Serena Hotel and Bold Shop at acacia mall.
