East Coast and UPDF boxing club shared the Cadets National Boxing Championship final honours at Lugogo Sunday.

East Coast and UPDF boxing club shared the Cadets National Boxing Championship final honours at Lugogo Sunday.
In the absence of powerhouse Lukanga Boxing Club, the Lugogo side showed great depth in the development programme by snatching a win in both Junior and Youth categories.
Army side UPDF reaffirmed their might by retaining the title in the Elites category
East Coast bagged the first honour in the Juniors category after leading with 14 points, a point adrift from COBAP, Lubya and Sentamu who shared eight points.
East Coast again stood out in the youth category after edging COBAP BC with 16 points. COBAP came second with a point behind while Kavuma BC were third-placed with 12 points.
Army side UPDF retained the title in the Elite category after edging COBAP and Police. UPDF earned 21 points, a point ahead of COBAP and Police (13).
