Batte Grace missed a penalty as Free Stars FC were held at home by Luweero United at the UCU grounds in Mukono.

The result meant that a home win remains elusive for the Mukono-based outfit in the Buganda Regional League.

They failed to capitalize on last weekend’s 2-0 win over Kiwoko Hospital FC.

Free Stars created plenty of chances but lack the sharpness in front of goal to make such efforts count.

Batte had the best chance to put the hosts in front from the spot but only blasted the effort over the bar.

The penalty was awarded when striker Simon Semalulu was bundled by goalkeeper Eria Ssentongo.

Luweero came on the receiving end of constant pressure from the marauding home players but they did well to hold them off at the back.

Brian Muteesasira who came on for Semalulu missed two clear chances in the last five minutes of the game that should have killed off the game.

He received a cute pass from Alex Mubeezi, but his loop over the goalie came up short as it kissed off the woodwork.

Two minutes later, he was at it again, but also failed to slot home in a frustrating game for the home crowd.

Both sides are tied on four points in four games, but Luweero is better on goal difference. Next, Free Stars meet Bweyogerere as Luweero Utd face Kira.
