Four netted in connection with school break-in

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary of a school in Wakiso district.

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary of a school in Wakiso district.


The suspects have been identified as Farouk Lubega, a scrap seller, Jackson Kigundu, Ibrahim Kaweesi and Sadam Lubega.

According to OC CID, Nabweru Police, Kotirida Nandutu, the four broke into Lugoba Skills Development Centre on Wednesday last week.

They are said to have stolen 50 school chairs, 2 motor engines, a while barrow, a sewing machine among others item worth millions of shillings after.

The school director, Hadijah Ssetimba, said the school had no guard.
