Kampala institute of Cricket clubs(KICC) are set to make their most desperate effort of the season as they take on Tornado bee in the women’s cricket league in what looks like the title decider at Budo oval on Saturday.
KICC are currently at the summit of the table with 66 points and a difference of 4 points against second placed Tornado bee and this is surely a do or die match for either side with only three games remaining to the end of the season.
“Honestly Tornado bee is our biggest rival, that’s why we are treating this game differently and am happy we have the mental strength, all the girls understand what the game means to us” Said Gertrude Chandiru, captain of KICC.
Tornado bee’s lead batsmen Immaculate Nakisuuyi and Rashidah Kalsum have a chance to not just add more runs on their tallies but to inspire their side as the season gets to the dying days.
Meanwhile third placed pioneer face Charity at Kyambogo oval in a bid to maintain their spot as Jinja SS take on struggling pioneer at Jinja oval.
