PHILEMON Nsungu scored late for Bright Stars Junior team to maintain their lead in the Hat trick Group of the FUFA Junior League.

 

They defeated BUL 1-0 away at Walukuba Grounds in Jinija on Saturday to register their third win out of the three games played.

 

Earlier they had defeated JMC Hippos and URA 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.

 

They are now on eleven points following the new rules FUFA introduced in the league where each team that wins with a two goal difference earns four points.

 

Elsewhere, URA beat JMC Hippos 2-1 in Wobulenzi Mulsa while Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) played to 1 all draw with Lweza at Old Kampala.

 

In the Treble Group,Soana lost to KCCA 1-0 at Nakasero while Maroons beat Simba 1-0 in Luzira.

 

At Namboole, Saints thrashed SC Villa 3-0 while Vipers defeated Sadolin Paints 1-0 at Kitende.
