Nigerian singer D'Banj (born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo) will be gracing a stage in Kampala during the Ciroc Pineapple launch set to be held at Guvnor Club, November 13.

D'Banj is Ciroc's ambassador Africa, the reason for his time here next month.

Popularly known as "Kokomaster", the 35-year old star has won several awards on the continent such as "Best African Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, "Artist of the Year" at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009, "Best International Act: Africa" at the 2011 BET Awards and "Best-selling African Artist" at the 2014 World Music Awards Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.

His 2012 hit "Oliver Twist" catapulted him to international stardom, making it to the top 10 in the UK singles chart that year.

With over five albums to his name, his performance here will definitely get him the attention he deserves.

Uganda Breweries Limted's Luxury Brands manager Anette Nakiyaga, revealed that the event dubbed "The Art Of Tropical Luxury" will be an invite-only affair.

But there will be tickets for sell as well (sh1m for a table of five and a Ciroc bottle).

The event will be held in and out of Guvnor on First Street.

Part of the street will be cordoned off to accommodate the enclosed stage.
