President Yoweri Museveni has hailed the Government of the Sudan for the efforts geared to the promotion of industries in the country saying the move will go a long way in promoting the socio-economic needs of the Sudan.

"I am happy to see the efforts made. In Uganda, we have similar ventures but unfortunately we have not exploited our economies of scale," he said.
