The case was registered in March on file number, CRB 273/2015 which was initially recorded with a false name, Florence Namugalu; and yet the first suspect, a friend of the wanted suspect, Semu Nsereko was released.

“Police have to tell us why the suspect was released, and yet no further information has been made on the case for over five months,” Bbosa said.

He also added that they want police to help them find the baby who disappeared that night because she was supposed to be in their custody.

Bbosa also said that the police gave away the child without the family's consent yet her mother had been murdered in a brutal way.

In her narration, Margaret Nanyonjo, the mother of the deceased said that the deceased first disappeared after her graduation in 2014 with the suspect.

Nanyonjo added that the next time she heard from her daughter was when she was complaining of harassment from her husband whom she had married barely a year ago.

The couple resided in Ggulu ward in Mukono central division.

It’s alleged that on March 18, 2015, the deceased was terribly beaten up by her husband, Semu Nsereko from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am leaving the deceased in a critical condition.

The police were allegedly tipped off by neighbours and the deceased was rushed to hospital from where she died of severe wounds.
