The Rotary Cancer Run is destined to be a success story according to the Crown Beverages Brand Executive Tracy Kakuru.

Kakuru told New Vision that they were putting final touches on the event that will start at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on
August 30.

“We expect to build on the sh150m sponsorship we invested in the event. We are dealing with all necessary arrangements to ensure that the run is successful and also bigger than the previous ones,” Kakuru stated.

The proceeds from the run will go towards the construction of the Rotary Blood Bank at Mengo Hospital. Every participant is required to pay sh20,000. Runners will take part in 21km, 10km and 5km in the event that is scheduled to start at 7am.
