20 year old Joel Kisakye is the winner of the just concluded Coca-Cola Rated Next Sing It, season three.

Kisakye, who decided to give education a break in 2013, in pursuit of a singing career with Kassana Children's center, based in Luweero, beat three other contestants to be crowned winner.

When announced winner, a strangely composed Joel took the news with so much calm.

It was as if he too did not believe that the shs50m cheque, presented to him by Vision Group Chief Executive Officer, Robert Kabushenga and the Coca-Cola Managing Director, Norton Kingwill, was not his.

Not only did Kisakye win shs50m, he got a one year recording deal with Swangz Avenue and an ipad.

Bomani Nkwaya came second, Sherina Nabukeera came third and Prudence Nanyanzi came 4th in the competition.

Coca-Cola Rated Next Sing It, a known partnership between Vision Group's Urban TV and Coca-Cola, took to the road four months ago in search of talent.

While speaking at the finale that happened on Sunday evening at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala, Coca-Cola's Franchise Brand Manager, Rodney Nzioka told of Coca-Cola's commitment to the search for talent.

"We pledge our inherent support for the grooming of talent in Uganda," he said.

Vision Group's Marketing and Communications manager, Suzan Nsibirwa, was grateful to Coca-Cola for the partnership that has since sailed for three seasons and hoped, the fourth season would happen.
