Government has released sh35m for the boxing national team, the bombers currently taking part in the Africa Championships in Casablanca.
Uganda Boxing Federation organizing secretary Fred Kavuma confirmed that the funds were released on Thursday and wired to Morocco.
The Bombers departed on Saturday night minus funds and the boxers were facing threats of being thrown out of their hotel.
Uganda has fielded eight boxers in a tournament that has attracted 23 African countries.
