Kiprotich not involved in an accident

Reports that double World and Olympic Marathon gold medalist Stephen Kiprotich was involved in an accident last night are not true.

UAAF's Beatrice Ayikoru clarified that Kiprotich is okay.  “Somebody's playing a Fool’s Day on people,” she said.

Reports on social media last night indicated all was not well with Kiprotich.

UAF officials Domenic Otuchet and Godfrey Nuwagaba also confirmed they had talked to Kiprotich and all was well. " I think somebody got their calendar wrong and thought it was April 1, " Nuwagaba said..
